Dermal fillers are injectable substances that are used to add volume to the face, smooth out wrinkles, and restore a more youthful appearance. They are a popular cosmetic procedure that can be performed by a variety of healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and dentists.

There are many types of dermal filler, with each type having its own advantages and disadvantages. For example, hyaluronic acid fillers are relatively safe and easy to inject, but they may not last as long as other types of fillers. Poly-L-lactic acid fillers last longer than hyaluronic acid fillers, but they may cause more bruising.
The procedure for dermal fillers is relatively simple. The filler is injected into the skin using a needle or cannula. The injection site is numbed using local numbing cream, although the product we practice with, and administer to our clients, is of the highest quality and contains a mild local anaesthetic.
